Having stumbled upon Voronwe and his freshly hatched egg shells Vena  saw that his mum had died from the long incubation period without any food that would normally be brought by the male dragon. But with such a unique bond Vena and Voronwe are deeply linked by more than just their bodies but by the magic that is normally shared between Dragon young and their parents.
