Games Workshop, April 2023. Collector comission. (Gold Diorama, Golden Demon 2023)

After the disapointment of 2022 golden demon with my unsucessful entry in diorama (althoug i love it and i am very proud of it) i wanted to spice things up with an even crazier piece.

Last time i was focused on competing, this time i was more focused on doing something i liked. It turned out to be the right choice as i got Gold in Diorama.

I think i went overboard with it and it has a lot of punch, the downside is that is not as refined as i would have liked. For next year i don’t want to bring only one entry, so i will try to start working now.

Mephiston and all Blood Angels characters are my favoruites, they have such a deep lore that gets me hooked everytime. I hope i did him justice.

I sculpted the base entirely with miliput and i converted him to have a nicer pose, closer to the artwork.
